#  Ecrt Connections with other Harvard University Systems

Ecrt data is populated through automated feeds from other Harvard University systems. These systems, and the data provided by those systems are as follows:

Sort#### GMAS

- PI
- Sponsor
- Award information, including
    - Accounts
    - Department information



#### PeopleSoft

- HUID
- Name
- Job information
- Email



#### Harvard Data Warehouse

- Regular Payroll
- Salary Journal adjustments ( As long as the Period of Work Performed (PWP) is included)







Things to Note:

- Any inaccuracies identified in Ecrt for the above data will need to be corrected in the appropriate source system.
- It takes two business days for salary journals to be uploaded into ecrt from the time they are posted to the General Ledger.
- The root of the account in GMAS determines the PI of the account in ecrt. If the PI needs to change in ecrt, the root will need to be updated in GMAS.
- Access to ecrt is assigned through the Authorized Requester process. A list of Authorized Requestors and the user request form can be found on the Client Services site:[ http://cs.fss.finance.harvard.edu/user-access-4](http://cs.fss.finance.harvard.edu/user-access-4)
