# GMAS Tip/Trick: Non-Financial Deliverables

Do you find it challenging to manage all the programmatic reporting due dates for your projects? Do you wish there was an easy way to schedule non-financial deliverables and that reminders were sent to you as deadlines approach?

Well, look no further than the recently updated GMAS Non-Financial Deliverable module on each project’s segment homepage. Department Administrators have the ability to schedule any non-financial deliverables that are due throughout the life of an award. When setting that schedule, each non-financial deliverable is assigned a Preparer who will receive automated GMAS notifications as the deliverables become due. Additional notification recipients can also be added to assist with reporting deadlines.

Department Administrators are encouraged to schedule non-financial deliverables at the time of award. As these deliverables are submitted, their submissions can be recorded in GMAS along with an uploaded copy of the report that can be saved into each deliverable’s document repository. Detailed guidance for navigating the GMAS Non-Financial Deliverable Module is available in the [Non-Financial Deliverable Job Aid](/non-financial-deliverables). The job aid also includes guidance for running the [HART Scheduled Reports](https://wiki.harvard.edu/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=OBIEEProject&title=Detail) dashboard, where users can access reports to identify upcoming, past due, and completed non-financial deliverables.

In addition to non-financial deliverables that are scheduled locally by Department Administrators, OSP Research Finance began scheduling all Annual RPPRs, Final (RRPRs) Technical/Progress Reports, and Final Invention Statements for prime NIH grants and cooperative agreements awarded after November 4, 2024. Any existing NIH awards had these deliverables added retroactively. One notable enhancement for NIH Annual RPPRs is that as the Annual RPPR comes due, GMAS will automatically initiate a Continuation Request at the time the GMAS Notification is sent to the Preparer, so Department Administrators will not need to create one on their own. Once the Continuation Request is in “submitted” status, the NIH Annual RPPR will automatically be marked as complete in GMAS. The process for scheduling, coordinating, and completing NIH non-financial deliverables is available [here](https://hu.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/FAD/EZFs6mlOg0VEt6nCMJgRLL4BIPn3_J1nxlMBCY8H10zMlw?e=zgYmHA).
