 

#  December 2024 GMAS Release

The December 2024 release will be available on December 16, 2024. The focuses of this release include updates for the Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Program (MFTRP) annual attestation status, Integration with the Harvard Training Portal in support of the new Research Security Training​​, support for the new subagreement overhead threshold of $50,000 in proposed budgets and awards, as well as other enhancements and bug fixes.

**Research Security Training support**

Requested by: Research Compliance Training Committee (RCTC)

- Added support for new Research Security Training requirements for covered individuals on federal projects.
- Developed a new interface to integrate with the Harvard Training Portal, sharing data about who is key personnel or investigators on research teams on federal projects in GMAS.
- Enhancement to display an individual's Research Security Training status on the person profile in the trainings panel, as well as on all approval screens and panels in GMAS projects.

**Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Program (MFTRP) annual attestation status updates**

- MFTRP annual attestation statuses have been moved from the GMAS project research team screens and panels to the GMAS approval screens and panels.
- Information about non-HUID and inactive HUID key personnel and investigators on GMAS projects is now shared with reviewers via the Research Administration Portal and statuses for those records are visible within GMAS.

**Non-Financial Deliverables Updates**

- Updated the defaults in the scheduler to send the preparer a reminder and automatically draft a continuation request for NIH RPPRs.
- Minor adjustments to labels for consistency

**Other Enhancements**

- Added support for the new subagreement overhead threshold of $50,000 in proposed budgets and awards.
- Added the ability to download the International Collaborations and Activities PDF when the approval is in Incomplete status.
- Updated the Person Profile to include a new Roots panel, displaying any root values associated with a person.

**Bug Fixes**

- Fixed a bug where final financial deliverables were pulling in transactions based on incorrect date parameters.
- Fixed a bug causing the account GL budget to clear data when entering an object code.
- Fixed a bug where receivables were updating from Outstanding to Balance Due incorrectly.
