## PI Dashboard

A new PI dashboard includes high-level GMAS information for each Principal Investigator (PI) such as:

- Current projects, remaining funds, and projected spending.
- Direct links to accounts, reports, subagreements, documents, action memos, and approvals.
- Pending (yet to be submitted) proposals, as well as submitted proposals awaiting sponsor notices.
- Interfaculty projects (part-ofs).

- For users who are PIs on projects, this new dashboard will be their homepage. All other users can access the PI dashboard as a link on the person profile.

- Addition of "confirm research team" process to at-risk account requests, including notification and to-do generation. The confirmation is required after the at-risk request becomes authorized.
- The Segment homepage will now display the &lt;Confirm research team&gt; button (at the top of the screen) and the research team confirmation status (in the research team component bar).
- The Sponsor Notices dashboard will include columns for research team confirmation status and COI reviewed status. COI reviewed status will display as "Yes" if all COI approvals linked to the request have been reviewed.
- The COI disclosure status (from the FCOI system) appears on each person profile.
- A document repository has been added to the COI approval.
- The COI approvals from prior to August 2012 will be referred to as "Conflict of Interest - Legacy"; the PHS COI approval implemented in August will now be referred to as "Conflict of Interest."
- PHS investigators are now referred to as "Investigator".
- Change PHS Investigator question from "Is this member an investigator as termed by the PHS regulations?" to "Is this member responsible for the design, conduct or reporting of the proposed research?"
- Resolve issue where COI approvals are not generated correctly on revise to resubmit requests
- Automatically update COI approval status from "No Disclosure" to "No Interests", when a research team member discloses in FCOI that they have no interests (and was previously no disclosure)
- There has been an update to the COI notification e-mail text.

## Document Repository

- New feature to allow the central sponsored offices to "lock" documents to prevent accidental deletion or modification.
- Broken links on the segment documents screen have been fixed to correctly navigate to the notices page and folders.

## Subagreements

- An additional, flexible indirect cost rate basis may be applied to subagreements. This will allow for a basis *other* than 'Excluded', 'On first $25,000', or 'On entire amount'. A description for the 'Other' rate basis is required and the budget calculations are performed as 'Excluded'.

## Security

- Department Administrators and Observers will now be able to view receipt and scheduled reports comments.
- Security permissions have been modified to allow only the Organization Editor and Central - Special Users access to delete organization profiles.
- New security management enhancement to update project teams based on current standing team assignments for PI-restricted standing team assignments.
- Security for financial reports has been modified so that only  users with the Manage Financial Reports role can schedule, edit and delete financial reports.

## Other

- For all projects with a prime sponsor, the prime institution's PI name will be required in the request and in the segment revision.
