Effort percentage can now be tracked for all research team members in GMAS

Much more detail about these enhancements can be found on the Committed Effort page.
Person Profile
Research Teams
A new Research Teams screen has been added that allows users to view all project research teams for a particular person. The page is organized by "active" projects (at the top), and "pending" projects (at the bottom). The link to the page is in the right-hand column on the person profile.
For active projects, the following information displays:
- Project ID number (the project ID number is a link to the project. The link is dependent on user security).

- Proposed start date
- % proposed effort
Current and Pending Support
A new link on the person profile has been added: Current and Pending Support (download). The link downloads an Excel document that lists active and pending awards. The following fields appear:
The screen and the download both also include rows for any projects where the person is not on the research team but is set up to be charged to the project in PeopleSoft.
Get more information about the Current and Pending Support here.
System-to-system (S2S)
Per the 7/26/2013 announcement from NIH, all electronic PHS submissions via Grants.gov will require new versions of the SF 424 (R&R) forms. This update includes those applications submitted via GMAS S2S. The forms updates are:
- SF 424 (R&R) 2.0
- PHS 398 Research Plan 2.0
- Key Person Expanded 2.0
- PHS 398 Cover Page Supplement 2.0
- Subaward Budget 1.3
- Performance Site 2.0
- R&R Budget 1.3
New forms include**:
- PHS Cumulative Inclusion Enrollment 1.0
- Planned Report 1.
**These new forms were previously the Planned Enrollment and Inclusion Enrollment attachments on the Research Plan. The new method of submission is the data must be entered in new components on the Request Homepage.
These components will only appear if you are using an opportunity number and competition id that include the new forms (Planned Enrollment and Cumulative Inclusion Enrollment) and if your project has human subjects (approval attribute for human subjects = Yes). The Planned Enrollment component will appear for both Initial Requests and Competing Renewals, and the Cumulative Inclusion Enrollment will appear for only Competing Renewal requests.
GMAS has also been enhanced to properly handle Grants.gov submissions that have multiple competition ids within the same opportunity number
Segment
- Functionality was added to the segment homepage that allows users to add a project summary. This project summary will also appear on the Current and Pending Support Excel download.
Financial Award Information Management
- Logic to show/hide cost sharing was removed. The reportable cost sharing question will now appear for all projects with the response options of "Does Not Apply to This Award", "Yes" and "No".
