GMAS Tip/Trick: Request Type Guidance

Are you familiar with the correct request type to choose in GMAS?

Request types are designed to match certain administrative processes, so it’s important to select the correct one. There are multiple ways to get more guidance to support your decision to use a specific request type(s):

• If you are in GMAS and trying to decide which request type to choose for your project, hover over the request types with a tooltip icon (an image of a circled question mark). A definition and helpful guidance will appear for each option.
• If you're not familiar with GMAS, or you are new to GMAS and are unsure how to begin making requests, consult the Request type guidance document available on the GMAS support site. This document provides the same instructions as the in-application tooltips along with detailed steps and accompanying images for creating each request type.
