GMAS August 2021 Release

Release Notes

The GMAS August 2021 release will be available as of the start of business on Monday, August 2nd 2021. This release includes a few enhancements, bug fixes, and screen conversions.

Enhancements:

  • Biohazard approval has been retired
    • Existing Biohazard approvals will become legacy approvals
  • Matching funds was removed from the approval attributes on proposal request home and the approval list screen.
  • The segment auto close job will no longer close segments that have a noticed logged
  • Internal requests and changes to existing segment requests will now default "Central Administrator" signatures if the central level org has that set as the required signature.

Conversions:

  • This release also delivers a number of screens that have been converted to the GMAS look-and-feel.
    • Converted the edit and view screens for use of name approvals.
    • Converted the edit and view screens for Stem Cells approvals.

 Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where international or cost sharing requests could not be deleted when linked to a cost sharing form on a different segment.
  • Updated the date picker to follow the “MM/DD/YYYY” format
  • Fixed a bug where the status message was displaying incorrectly on international and cost sharing requests.
  • Fixed a bug where committing a revision on closed segments updated the admin team with active records.
  • Fixed an issue where segment labels where being displayed on the request home pages
